Ameri-Shred offers four models of conveyor fed Light Duty Industrial Paper Shredders. These large, powerful units are designed for high volume, centralized shredding and can be matched to both horizontal and down stroke balers. Although similar in appearance, each successive model has more power, a larger drive train and greater capacity.
Ameri-Shred's conveyor-fed shredders begin with our Light Duty Industrial series. This series, with its sixteen inch wide input conveyor, consists of four models, the AMS-300, AMS-500, AMS-750, and AMS-1000. Operating on three phase power and ranging from three to ten horsepower, these models will realistically shred four hundred to twelve hundred pounds of material per hour.
These Light Duty Industrial shredders are equipped with heavy duty castors for easy mobility. A pull-out chaff reject drawer is used for the collection of residue from the input conveyor belt, eliminating paper build-up from around the motor. The five inch steel paddle wheel crusher, located just in front of the cutters, enable these shredders to destroy waste basket contents, crumpled paper, steel, aluminum, and plastic beverage containers, as well as corrugated and small boxes.
With its spur gears running in an oil bath and having easy to remove lift-off panels, the AMS-1000 features the advantages of a Medium Duty Industrial paper shredder in a package similar to the compact design of our Light Duty Industrial models. With 20% greater throughput than our model AMS-750, this shredder is equipped with a ten horsepower, three phase motor and feature seven inch diameter cutters, as well as a nine inch steel paddle wheel crusher.
These Light Duty Industrial shredders are extremely popular, not just for centralized shredding for a large company, but also for mobile document destruction operations. The shredders in this series are the most reliable, efficient, and powerful shredders available in their class.

All Safe has nearly 2 decades experience in the document destruction industry and shreds over 800 tons of confidential documents per month.
Precision ground, self-sharpening A-2 tool steel cutters with a positive saw-tooth grip will shred not only paper but corrugated boxes, credit cards, transparencies, microfilm, microfiche and floppy disks. An optional automatic cutter head lubrication system is available.
Standard extra-large feed tables provide areas to stack material prior to shredding to maximize throughput. This feature allows the operator to merely push the material that needs to be destroyed onto the input conveyor belt. By reducing bending and lifting of material, operator fatigue is also reduced
A paddle wheel crusher, located just ahead of the cutters, enables these versatile machines to crush and shred wastebasket contents, corrugated boxes and even steel and aluminum beverage containers.
Shredder bags allow for clean, efficient collection and disposal of shredded material. If you wish to collect the shredded material into other types of containers, the bag rack system is removable.
Attached Output Conveyor - Attached output conveyors will carry the shreds to a baler (horizontal or vertical), gaylord container, compactor, etc.
Heat treated spur gears provide an effective transfer of power to the cutters. Oil bath lubrication eliminates the need for manual greasing.

Ameri-Shred offers the AMS-1000-HD conveyor-fed industrial paper shredder with a standard 10 HP motor (15 HP upgrade available). These units share many of the features of our larger series in a more compact design such as: larger diameter cutters, shafts, lift off panels for easy maintenance, spur gears running in an oil bath and a hinged cover over the cutting assembly for easy cleaning.
